11. Deleting the bubble and removing everything
Remove one app
Bubble → Apps (or Meta space) → the bin next to the app. Only that space's copy and its data are deleted.
Delete the bubble
Bubble → Bubble → Delete the bubble, and confirm. The bubble and all its apps and data are deleted. This cannot be undone. Bubble then shows the setup assistant to create a new one, if you want.
Delete and create a new bubble does the same and creates a fresh bubble right away.
Delete the Meta space
Bubble → Meta space → Delete the Meta space. Its apps and data are deleted; the bubble and the normal phone do not change.
Remove everything
Bubble → Settings → Remove everything leaves the phone as it was before Bubble. Bubble first lists what goes and what stays, and asks twice, because apps and data are lost.
Removed
- The bubble, with its apps and data.
- The Meta space, with its apps and data.
- The phone's firewall: blocked apps get internet again.
- The settings Bubble changed in the system: the silenced system events, the usage-statistics restriction, Bubble's saved state; the guard is stopped.
Kept
- The apps and data of your normal phone.
- Bubble itself, installed and paired, so you can uninstall it or start again.
Then uninstall Bubble as any app. To remove the pairing too: Settings → System → Developer options → Revoke debugging authorizations. You can turn Developer options off afterwards.
If you uninstall Bubble without using Remove everything first, the bubble and the Meta space stay on the phone. You can still delete them from Android's Settings: the bubble under Security & privacy → Private space → Delete private space; the Meta space under Settings → Passwords & accounts → Work → Remove work profile (names vary by phone).
